[A screen pops up and at first nothing is seen, though the noise of something rubbing against the screen is plainly heard. There's a muffled voice before whatever was rubbing against it was pulled away. There's now a blond haired boy on the screen, a blue bird with cloud like wings on his shoulder.]

Doesn't look like the fall broke it, Sky... Huh? It's on?

[The boy stood straighter and looked around.]

I guess we can send a message this way.

[He looks down at the screen again as his little friend chirps.]

If anyone can hear this, can you tell me what's going on? This lady said she was my mom, and there was this old guy who gave me a red and white ball and talked about Pokémon. Is that what Sky is? She just looks like a bird with clouds for wings.

[Sky objects to this and chirps shrilly into her trainer's ears. This causes the boy to drop the device, which promptly lands on the grass. Now there's just a view of the sky and muffled grumbling.]

Hmm, well you are his Nobody. I guess that kinda makes sense.

[he rubs his brow.]

Not that I know much about it. I'm still behind on the times.

[Or was this the other time and worlds thing?]

[But, just in case Roxas is still confused--]

I'm from the past. I just look older because I've been here a while.

So there's no way back ho-... to get back to where we're from?

There is, but it's random. You can't predict when or if it'll happen.

[He shrugs, leaning against the edge of his bed.]

Basically, you might be in it for the long haul.

[seasaltkey]

[The long haul? As in he doesn't have to go back there and not be his own person? He can be a normal kid with a little friend like Sky by his side? That's doable.]

Man, you're taking this a lot better than most people.

[And in the background, that Haunter's rubbing his hands and snickering. Yes. Good. Get comfortable. It'll make the pranks so much sweeter!

Riku sends him a sharp look and slips into the other room. What a pain in the rear.]

[Probably because he just came from a place where he was told he shouldn't have been born, he's not a real person, and now he's here. It's better than nothing.]

I guess I got used to weird things happening to me.

How weird? You can't just leave it at that.

[Mostly because it opens the floodgates to a billion questions. C'mon, Roxas. Tell him more.]

It's nothing big. Just weird things happening around town. And the whole Keyblade thing.

But weird could mean just about anything. C'mon, what about the specifics?

[Roxas, this is totally up his alley. Weird stuff from other worlds? Always fun to hear.]

Why do you want to know about all this?

[He doesn't get it.]

Because it's interesting? It's not like I got to see any other worlds for myself.

[That sounds sad.]

So you didn't get to see things like Sora... has he told you all about the worlds?

Just bits and pieces. I've been meaning to ask for more info, but we've... kinda had other things on our minds.

Then you should ask him now?

[Not really, anyway. Deferring to Sora doesn't explain his experiences.]

I don't know how to explain it! Weird things happened to me, I fought these creatures called Nobodies, and I got a Keyblade.

Wait, but aren't you a Nobody? I don't know if I'd think of you guys as "creatures"...

[That may've come out a bit more blunt than he intended, but his knowledge of stuff like the Organization's still pretty vague.]

What?! I'm nothing like those things!

[He's on the defensive now.]

Things? But I thought Nobodies looked just like people. And last I heard, you were Sora's Nobody, so...

[Yeah, just color him confused. This is getting kinda weird.]

No. There's Nobodies that look like monsters and other creatures, too.

[He knows he and Naminé are Nobodies... but those things he fought were, too.]

...See, that's just confusing. Why the heck do some look like humans and others don't?

Maybe it's the strength of heart or will that counts?

[He reaches for his brow, exhaling through his nose.]
