[The video pops up and here is Roxas, with Sky his Swablu beside him. She's holding a small red orb in her mouth, and looks oh so proud. There's a green one and a yellow on in front of her, and a blue one in Roxas's hand. He looks a bit confused.]

I was thinking about home yesterday and my friends, and this morning I woke up with these marbles. I noticed that other people were getting things, too, that they wished for. Do you think we get to keep them? The little things?

[It's an innocent enough question. He just really wants to keep these marbles.]

And if we don't get to keep them, can we find things like this here?

[He'll wait patiently for a reply as he shuts his gear off.]

[Guess who didn't go to the birthday party because he felt awkward about going to a party of a girl he was pretty sure disliked him. Roxas did get her a present. He'd just been way too awkward about giving it to Ilya. He had thought about asking Kairi, Xion, or Naminé to give it to her. Would that be cheating.

Since he had no idea what girls liked, he had walked around. A store caught his eye and he wound up getting two things: a flower hairpiece and a wing headband. Roxas knew that girls at least liked pretty things. Sky even gave them her seal of approval. He carried the boxes in his hands out of the room and looked around. Where were the girls rooms again?]

That would be an efficient strategy, but raising a Talonflame takes a while. Especially since it'd need to be... level 40 or so?

Yeah. So I gotta rely on my other for now. They're okay with that.

I hatched him. He was okay at first, but Murkrow's apparently are mean to everyone.

Well, that's one species I'll know to avoid. Does he also pick on the younger ones?

Yeah. And people, too.

Maybe evolution will someday improve his personality. Or make it worse.

... I think I'll just give him to Riku to train.

...He's been here for a long time, so he's probably seen much worse, right?

Probably... some of his Pokémon scare me.

They're not just ill-tempered Jigglypuffs or sneaky pranksters, I'm guessing?

No... he's got fully evolved ones, and a lot of them are huge!

Some of the biggest species are also the sweetest, but I'll assume that's not the case for those specific ones.

Some of them are nice, but there's others that don't seem to like me much.

And do they seem to like anyone else? At all?

They like their trainers. And the triplets. Maybe because they're girls.

Could be. Unless it's because they've got info you don't. Like knowledge of their favorite treats, or their preferred scratching spot.

... I got along with all the flying types! So no all of them were mean. I guess I'm better with things that have wings.

That's a good affinity to have around here. It'll make travelling much easier for you.

I caught a Ducklett. I looked it up, and I can teach Demyx Surf. That'd be useful, too.

Especially if you want to visit Cianwood or the southern islands. Though you might want to wait until he grows larger, for your own safety.

Is he looking forward to it? Either the surfing, or the evolving.
