[The video pops up and here is Roxas, with Sky his Swablu beside him. She's holding a small red orb in her mouth, and looks oh so proud. There's a green one and a yellow on in front of her, and a blue one in Roxas's hand. He looks a bit confused.]

I was thinking about home yesterday and my friends, and this morning I woke up with these marbles. I noticed that other people were getting things, too, that they wished for. Do you think we get to keep them? The little things?

[It's an innocent enough question. He just really wants to keep these marbles.]

And if we don't get to keep them, can we find things like this here?

[He'll wait patiently for a reply as he shuts his gear off.]

[Guess who didn't go to the birthday party because he felt awkward about going to a party of a girl he was pretty sure disliked him. Roxas did get her a present. He'd just been way too awkward about giving it to Ilya. He had thought about asking Kairi, Xion, or Naminé to give it to her. Would that be cheating.

Since he had no idea what girls liked, he had walked around. A store caught his eye and he wound up getting two things: a flower hairpiece and a wing headband. Roxas knew that girls at least liked pretty things. Sky even gave them her seal of approval. He carried the boxes in his hands out of the room and looked around. Where were the girls rooms again?]

We got to keep items like that before, so it's possible. But I can't say for certain that we will this time.

[He hopes so, though. He always liked the old jacket he got back.]

The department stores should have marbles, and maybe also the Pokémarts. But I doubt they're the same.

I'm really hoping we do. I have a friend from back home I want to give one to, and her sisters get the other two.

[He's also hoping, but more on the that the triplets will like this.]

Not really. I won these. They were part of a big trophy that I got when I became the Champion in Struggle.

I gave it to my friends there, but I guess this world wants me to give them to my new friends. Well, two new ones and an old friend.

[He perks up. This is going to be a very happy and excited explanation.]

It's both! We have these blades that don't actually hurt if you hit someone with it. It can hurt if you hit hard enough, but that's just a small part of the it! You have to get all of the orbs from the opponent, or just get enough where you have more than the other person! You move on in matches that way. I beat everyone so I could face off against the old Champion, Setzer. I beat him, no problem, and became the Champion!

So it's a little like a fencing tournament, but with more hitting and a physical points system? Sounds perfect for spending extra energy during the summer or after classes. How many participants were there?

I dunno! The same thing happened to me too, though.

[Jimmy holds up a CD for Roxas to see. The cover says "Runny and The Nosebleeds".]

This is a real popular band back home where I'm from, and when I wished for one of their CDs, I got it! So I sure hope it sticks around.

This world has a lot, but I guess it didn't have everything. I can't find my favorite ice cream flavor here.

Sea-salt. It's blue, and it's both salty and sweet. It's really good.

[ Luckily for Roxas, Naminé's just stepping out of her room. She looks one way down the hall, and then when her eyes fall on Roxas, she smiles. ]

Roxas. Are you alright?

[He jumps and looks over. Ah, okay, it's Naminé. Sky squealed in delight and flew over to the blonde, landing on her shoulder and nuzzling her. She really liked this human.]

Y-Yeah. Just wondering where Ilya's room is...

[shatterings]

Ilya's room?

[ She gives Sky a pat, smiling lightly at the Pokémon. ]

Do you have gifts for her?

Yeah. I wanted to leave them by her door.

[shatterings]

I think she'd like that.

[ She leads Roxas to Ilya's door. ]

Are you sure you don't want to give them to her in person?

Although...I don't see why you wouldn't be able to keep those things?

Little pieces of potato that are fried and slathered in salt and spices? Or, more accurately, a spiraling descent into gluttony and sadness--they are here only briefly, and then we come to resent their absence.

I'd share, but my boyfriend and our Pokemon and I kind of ate all of them already.

...and I wouldn't worry about it, I mean, like, everything disappears in the end, right?

[He doesn't look at the gear as frequently as he used to, and when he does it's normally for a quick message or two before returning to other things.

But that face is too familiar to ignore!]

[A-hahah... He's not going to get all sad about this. Nope. Nuh-uh. He has heard of this but he's never really seen it before. Even so, it would be pretty wrong to drag this guy into memories they didn't share. So Rin smiles instead.]

Don't worry about it~. I'm Rin Okumura! - I'll just have to get to know you! I don't think I wished for anything. I'd rather it stay there and wait for me, y'know?

[This makes Roxas less tense. He wasn't getting the same treatments the others gave him, and for that he's thankful.]

It's nice to get mementos from your home? Yeah, it's gotta be special. [But that's no good. Roxas should have a few friends, if not one good buddy to talk to. Should he? ...M-Maybe? He's not sure...]
