[The video pops up and here is Roxas, with Sky his Swablu beside him. She's holding a small red orb in her mouth, and looks oh so proud. There's a green one and a yellow on in front of her, and a blue one in Roxas's hand. He looks a bit confused.]

I was thinking about home yesterday and my friends, and this morning I woke up with these marbles. I noticed that other people were getting things, too, that they wished for. Do you think we get to keep them? The little things?

[It's an innocent enough question. He just really wants to keep these marbles.]

And if we don't get to keep them, can we find things like this here?

[He'll wait patiently for a reply as he shuts his gear off.]

[Guess who didn't go to the birthday party because he felt awkward about going to a party of a girl he was pretty sure disliked him. Roxas did get her a present. He'd just been way too awkward about giving it to Ilya. He had thought about asking Kairi, Xion, or Naminé to give it to her. Would that be cheating.

Since he had no idea what girls liked, he had walked around. A store caught his eye and he wound up getting two things: a flower hairpiece and a wing headband. Roxas knew that girls at least liked pretty things. Sky even gave them her seal of approval. He carried the boxes in his hands out of the room and looked around. Where were the girls rooms again?]

[He doesn't look at the gear as frequently as he used to, and when he does it's normally for a quick message or two before returning to other things.

But that face is too familiar to ignore!]

Hey man! Long time no see!

[Have a look of utter confusion in return.]

Huh? Do I know you?

[Oh yeah... he had supposedly been here before.]

Oh.. I don't think I'm the right Roxas. This is my first time in Johto!

[A-hahah... He's not going to get all sad about this. Nope. Nuh-uh. He has heard of this but he's never really seen it before. Even so, it would be pretty wrong to drag this guy into memories they didn't share. So Rin smiles instead.]

Don't worry about it~. I'm Rin Okumura! - I'll just have to get to know you! I don't think I wished for anything. I'd rather it stay there and wait for me, y'know?

[This makes Roxas less tense. He wasn't getting the same treatments the others gave him, and for that he's thankful.]

You know my name... so it's nice to meet you, Rin.

[That does make a lot of sense. Though his case is different... he doesn't want to go back.]

I'm glad it came here. I don't have many friends here, so this is nice.

Nice t'meet ya too, Roxas!

[He honestly didn't remember Roxas' name BUT WHO REALLY CARES. NOW HE KNOWS IT.]

It's nice to get mementos from your home? Yeah, it's gotta be special. [But that's no good. Roxas should have a few friends, if not one good buddy to talk to. Should he? ...M-Maybe? He's not sure...]

Did you play marble games with your other friends?

[He nods a bit. He's sad and happy to look at them. Too bad his friends from back home weren't real. None of it was.

He blinks and shakes his head.]

No! These marbles came from a trophy I won. I made a promise that I'd share it with my friends, so I gave them each a marble. They supported me and cheered for me.

[Trophy marbles? He's never heard of such a thing, but then again that's a thing special about Roxas' home. Rin cracks a big smile at that.]

Your friends already sound awesome! ...Then, I hope you get to keep 'em. If not, there might be a toy store that sells 'em for cheap.

[No, Rin, no. That wouldn't be the same.]

Yeah, but those won't be as special. They won't be from the trophy.

[O-Oh...]

That's true. - But if they remind you of your friends, then maybe the memories they shared with you could be enough?

[That does make sense.... Ah!]

I could get other colors, too. So I can give them to more than just three friends!

Yeah! That way you have a whole collection of awesome marbles!

I can go do that right now. There's a big store here in Celadon. Somewhere.

[He keeps getting lost... he'll get better eventually.]

Dude, how'd you end up all the way in Celadon when you just got here? ...Don't ya have a map?

I do! Riku, Sora, and the others picked me up.

[Riku and Sora sound like familiar names - but nothing really comes to mind. The important thing is that Roxas has people with him and he's not alone.]

That's good. I thought you made it there by yourself.

I was in Veridian when they got me. This place is huge! It took a few days to get there...

[He had to use his birds for guidance.]

[Albeit he's only ever been in Twilight Town. This place is so big it makes his head spin at times.]

So you've never seen a city before?

[Chuckles over here is laughing up a tiny storm]

I mean back in your home. I've never seen a farm until I got here!

[Rin seems to laugh a lot. Reminds him of Raij.]

... I come from a place called Twilight Town. I don't remember anything but that town. I don't know what else there is.

[Memory loss? Like amnesia? That would explain the whole city thing.]

Twilight Town? That's gotta nice ring to it. ...You'll make lots of memories here. You already saw a city - now you gotta see what else this world has to offer.

I'm gonna travel as soon as I can! Once I get the Celadon City badge, I'll fly to Pewter first.

Maybe I can visit more people and make memories with them.
