[The video pops up and here is Roxas, with Sky his Swablu beside him. She's holding a small red orb in her mouth, and looks oh so proud. There's a green one and a yellow on in front of her, and a blue one in Roxas's hand. He looks a bit confused.]

I was thinking about home yesterday and my friends, and this morning I woke up with these marbles. I noticed that other people were getting things, too, that they wished for. Do you think we get to keep them? The little things?

[It's an innocent enough question. He just really wants to keep these marbles.]

And if we don't get to keep them, can we find things like this here?

[He'll wait patiently for a reply as he shuts his gear off.]

[Guess who didn't go to the birthday party because he felt awkward about going to a party of a girl he was pretty sure disliked him. Roxas did get her a present. He'd just been way too awkward about giving it to Ilya. He had thought about asking Kairi, Xion, or Naminé to give it to her. Would that be cheating.

Since he had no idea what girls liked, he had walked around. A store caught his eye and he wound up getting two things: a flower hairpiece and a wing headband. Roxas knew that girls at least liked pretty things. Sky even gave them her seal of approval. He carried the boxes in his hands out of the room and looked around. Where were the girls rooms again?]

Probably for the best. Did you get it back too?

No... I didn't wish for it, so that might be why. I just really wanted the marbles.

That's likely. I guess you could wish for it separately if you really want it, and if it wouldn't take too much room in your backpack.

I think I'm happy with the marbles right now. They're easier to share.

True. Are you sure whoever created the trophy won't miss them?

... It's kind of hard to miss something when it's gone.

[He doesn't know if saying the world he was in was fake and is now gone is a good subject.]

...Shouldn't that be the opposite? You can't really miss something if it's still there.

[According to his world's logic. he's long accepted that other places might feel differently about such issues.]

[Since Sora and the other's know, maybe it's okay to tell.]

No. The world I'm from doesn't exist anymore. Or won't when I go back.

[That is the last answer Ash expected. He chokes on his next breath.]

...At all? Not even as a war-stricken hellhole, or an empty planet, or... How can a world not exist anymore?

Because it was never real. I was put in there for a reason.

[A reason he'd rather not talk about.]

[Unbelievable, he could almost say, except he knows better by now.]

...I'm sorry. That can't possibly have been pleasant to learn.

[He shrugs, not seeming to be too broken about it right now.]

I'm here. That's all that really matters to me right now.

Living in the present, are you? Under those circumstances, that's probably for the best.

It's not hard. I like it here. Making new friends, getting to travel... it's a lot of fun.

I doubt you could have found a better world for either of those activities. The animals companions must be a nice bonus, too.

My Pokémon do make it a lot more fun. I don't like traveling alone. They're always with me, like real friends should be.

[captainash]

They should, yes. That's one of the reasons I like staying in cities; if you have a home, you can keep more than six Pokémon around.

I can do that at the Training Center, too! I don't know how the others feel about all of these birds flying around, though.

Unless they have tiny teams that keep to themselves or a clutch of newly-hatched Caterpies, they can hardly complain about a few birds.

All of their Pokémon are super powerful... None of them have complained, but what if they do? I don't like putting them in their Pokéballs.

...Have you looked into local parks? I'm sure the locals wouldn't complain about trained Pokémon walking around, if they behave themselves.

I think they'd like that. I should take them out more.

It'd give them the opportunity to make new friends. Or strong rivals, if that's what they prefer.

I hope they make friends. If I can do it, so can they.
