[It's clearly dark out, so there's a lantern set to the side to illuminate Roxas sitting on the ground. He's got a sleeping Zubat in his lap. Roxas doesn't look too happy about this. Who would be when you're camping under the stars and awoken for no good reason.]

I know not a lot of people are going be awake right now, but here I am.

[He sighs as he pulls the rather guilty looking Shinx of his closer. She's doing her best not to look at her trainer or the camera. This little girl is clearly in trouble for something, and she doesn't want anyone to know.]

If you have a Pokémon that's afraid of the dark, put them in a Pokéball or keep a light on. Else they'll attack the first thing that gets too close to your camp. Which is either you, or this Zubat. At least she was sleeping outside of the tent... Goodnight.

[With that he turns the gear off as the now freed Shinx runs off into the tent.]

Abra is pretty easy. I found mine just north of Goldenrod. Beldum's a bit trickier but you should be able to pick one up in the Ruins of Alph. The grassy areas, though, not the inside where all the Unown are.

I can't argue with that logic, especially since steel is a very useful type, as long as you avoid ground and fire. Fighting would usually be a problem, but as it's part psychic, that won't be an issue.

At any rate, even before you get your pyschic type you should be able to communicate with them. They can understand what you say, and you should try to learn to read their body language and expressions. It'll be hard, but trust me, it's worth it.

And try to see what they do when they're feeling a certain way. It's a bit of an inexact science, but you'll figure it out with practice.

Of course I do! Science is, in the end, the process of figuring out how our world works. Who doesn't want to understand the things going on around them better? Besides, the more you learn, the more questions you think to ask, so it really never ends!

[Congratulations, Roxas, you just pushed one of her biggest buttons.]

Well, the first thing most people do is ask a big question, then break that down into smaller questions that are easier to answer so they can build the smaller answers up to answer the big question.

Of course, if what you want to know is fairly small itself, you can skip that step.

[Darn right he does.]

Well I'm glad you understood it, at least. I can't say that about everyone I know.

[She was actually referring to Rainbow, but yeah, Sora works too.]

Regardless, the question you should be worrying about right now is "how can I make my Pokemon respect me?" Which of course needs to be broken down by Pokemon first off, so perhaps it should be "What do my Pokemon respect?"

[She can't keep the grin off her face.]

Has that been a huge problem in the past?

Sounds like a friend of mine back home.

So, how have you been convincing her to ease up on that?

[Must. Restrain. Laughter.]

Well... it's nice to know she understood. But you see? That's what I mean by making sure they understand why the rules are in place. She probably wouldn't have listened if you just told her to stop without explaining why.

You've explained it keeps you awake?

So she either doesn't care, or her urge to do it is stronger than her respect for your sleeping schedule.

Hopefully it's the latter...
