So when's it supposed to start snowing again? Does anyone know?

[Vivi squeaks the same question. He wants to play in more snow!]

Oh yeah... do they have a Pokémon Santa here? It's Christmas this month, and I've never seen a Santa before other than the weird ones that are ringing bells. And if it's a person instead, isn't Santa supposed to ride around on a sled pulled by reindeer? Stantler are like reindeer, so I guess he'd have those here... how does he deliver all those presents in one night? Is there more than one Santa?

[These are pressing questions, people. Please enlighten the blond and his tiny squeak.]

Yeah, it's great! I mean, it depends on the quality of the restaurant, of course, but even bad cheap Chinese take-out's a staple for old bachelors like me.

They might call it something else, but yeah, just find a place that does noodles and that's probably close enough.

And a bachelor's a guy who isn't married.

Doesn't have to be. Just never saw a Chinese place without 'em.

I think the equivalent for a lady is bachelorette? Don't think I hear that as often, though.

Maybe there is less of them that aren't married? I don't think I've met anyone who's married here.

Well, I imagine most people don't come through with their spouse attached. A lot of the locals probably are, though.

It'd be happier for them if they did. Or maybe a relief? Married people have problems like everyone else... or that's what it seems like.

'Course they do. Married people are people just like anybody else, they just get used to seeing each other's faces all the time. But I guess that's the charm of getting married, anyway.

How's that different from friends? I can see my friends all the time, too.

Yeah, it is. Doesn't look like it's anything we have to worry about while we're here, though, so don't mind me.

There's no adults from my world here, so I can't ask them about taxes.

I'd bet most adults here come from worlds with taxes, so if you ask around, you can at least get the gist of it. It's just money you pay the government so they can provide public services like paved roads and school buses. And, you know. Support the military.

The only government I know is what a guy named Blake was trying to impose on everyone by calling himself President. I don't want my money going to him. But I think he quit anyways. No one was listening to him anyways.

Oh yeah, I think I remember that guy posting something a while back. I think there's some other form of government in place, though. I mean, someone's gotta pay the police.
